About me

I am a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the Grupo de Teleinformática e Automação (GTA) lab, COPPE, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) under the advising of Prof. Otto Carlos M. B. Duarte. I received a cum laude engineering degree in Computer and Information Engineering from UFRJ in May 2019 and a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ in October 2019. During my undergraduate research, I won several prizes, including three best paper awards and three honorable mentions in research competitions. My research interests lie in the general area of computer networks and information security, especially blockchain technology, machine-learning-based intrusion detection, network virtualization, and software-defined networking.
